DESTINATION WAIGEO
Waigeo is the largest of the archipelago’s four main islands. On Waigeo is the town of Wasai, capital of the Raja Ampat regency, located in the west of the island.
Waigeo Island offers diving, rock islands, scenic bays walled in by towering cliffs, a jungle interior offering good birdwatching, and the cheapest accommodation options in all of Raja Ampat. Aside from diving, Pulau Waigeo has also been bragged as a place for excellent underwater photography due to its bio-diversity and exotic sea creatures. At a depth of approximately 30 meters along the Waiwo Beach, you may get the chance to see white tip reef sharks as well as the black tip reef sharks that are commonly spotted sleeping and sometimes patrolling the blue waters’ depths.
WAYAG
Wayag is one of the four major islands in the Raja Ampat Islands in West Papua province, Indonesia. The island is known for its beautiful atolls and amazing underwater life covering a total area of 155,000 hectares. In this island you may find pristine beaches with unique Karst islands that look like mushrooms sprouting out from the sea. Wayag Island never ceases to amaze. Divers, especially, have been overwhelmed not only by the rich underwater displays, but also by the panoramic beauty of the island as they climb up to its highest platform and observe coves and atolls around. The island is 10 km north of the equator.
MISOOL
Misool Island is a remote, tropical hideaway, one of four largest islands in the Raja Ampat archipelago.
Located off the west coast of the main island of Papua, directly bordering the Seram Sea, the waters are a veritable traffic lane for many large sea creatures, including whales. The crystal clear turquoise sea-waters allow spectacular views of Misool’s sub-surface colorful treasures even when still aboard your boat. The island is heavily forested and mangrove swamps. A number of petroglyphs can be found on walls of caves throughout the island, dating back approximately 5,000 years.
SALAWATI
Salawati is one of the four major islands in the Raja Ampat Islands in West Papua, Indonesia. Its area is 1623 km². Salawati is separated from New Guinea by the Sele Strait, and from Batanta by the Pitt Strait. Nearly three-quarters of the island of Salawati is sago dense forest. The beauty of Salawati is indeed related to the diversity of the plants and the animals. There are bunkers from World War II, made in the Netherlands and Japan in this island. Another unique fish species called Melanotaenia Salawati had found in this island, This fish’s scaly colors of the rainbow. This fish species can be found in doctor’s rivers.
BATANTA
Batanta is one of the four major islands in the Raja Ampat Islands in West Papua province, Indonesia. Its area is 453 km² and its highest point is 1184 m. The Pitt Strait separates it from Salawati, while the Dampier Strait separates it from Waigeo. The island is blanketed with pristine rainforest. Hence, it is one of the islands in West Papua that is valuable to be explored. The island is not too large. Even, you can see the mountains which are near the coast. Western Batanta is in fact one of the first corners of Raja Ampat that was declared an official nature reserve. In this island, Among the activities you can do include, hiking, bird-watching, diving and snorkeling. For hikers, Batanta offers exciting experience of hiking and trekking.

The village of Arborek is fast rising as a pioneer among the 18 beautiful villages in West Papua that have embarked on developing local regulations for community-based marine conservation.
