WONDERFUL BELITUNG
BELITUNG or BELITONG, was known as Billiton. This is an island in off the east coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, flanked by the Gaspar Strait and Karimata Strait. The word Belitung is taken from the local language means sea slug. Belitung Island is divided into two districts, namely Billiton District, with Tanjung Pandan as the capital area; and East Belitung district, with Manggar as the capital.
This island blessed with many soft and white sandy beach. It is alsos surrounded by more than 100 small islands. Almost all of them are decorated with white sand and granite rocks, and only a few are inhabited.
There is many beaches in this island. The 4 famous beaches are Tanjung Pendam Beach, Tanjung Tinggi Beach, Tanjung Kelayang Beach, and Jimbaran Beach.
There is an iconic old lighthouse was built by the Dutch in 1882 located in one of the Lengkuas island. Approximately 50 meters in height, it is as tall as a 12-storey building. The spectacle from this lighthouse offers 360 degree view of the fascinating Island and all the wonders that surround it, including the crystal clear waters and other spreading tiny islands.

DESTINATION
TANJUNG TINGGI BEACH
This beach well known as one of the shooting place for The Rainbow Troops movie. But again, the granite rock surround this beach will make this beach more popular than other beach in Belitung. On the eastern tip of Pantai Tanjung Tinggi there are rocks that form a tunnel through which you can walk through. The panorama is exotic

TANJUNG PENDAM BEACH
This beach located in the city. It is suitable to see the sunset from this area. From the shorelines, you can sit under the tree and enjoy the sunset. Tanjung Pendam Beach also features some galleries of handicraft and painting.

BUKIT BERAHU BEACH
This beach has a solemn and shady ambiance, not to mention quiet calm. This is mean that the beach is safe for swimming. The beach also have several cottages and restaurant. The best view was taken from the lobby above.

TANJUNG KELAYANG BEACH
The name of Tanjung Kelayang is refer to a kind of bird is this island. It has a turquoise blue water with gently waves lapping to it’s soft sandy beach. Close to the beach, piles of granite boulders resembling the head of Garuda and it is become a Belitung’s landmark. Tanjung Kelayang is the starting point for island hopping activities in Belitung.

LENGKUAS ISLAND
Lengkuas Island is blessed with a pristine beach, turquoise blue waters and distinct huge granite boulders. Below the surface, the waters around the island are filled with colorful fish of various kinds, pristine coral reefs, a large number of starfish and more of the fascinating granite boulders. Adding to the splendor is the existence of a hundred years’ old Lighthouse which offers complete fascinating views of the island and its surroundings.

SAILING ROCK ISLAND
Sailing Rock Island also features several coral reefs. Snorkeling is another famous activity in Sailing Rock Island. The best spot is in the west part of the island. You can find beautiful fishes and reefs in here.
This island also well know for photograph session due the unique granite as a background.

KEPAYANG ISLAND
Kepayang Island is the largest island among dozens of small clusters and exotic islands in the North Belitung. The island is also being called as Pulau Babi or Pig Island. This island will be the place for rest after island hopping. We will serve your lunch in this island. After lunch, you may explore another Granite Rock by 10 minutes walking. Find your surprise in this island.

KAOLIN LAKE
Kaolin lake has spectacular panorama with the light blue water. Kaolin Lake was originally a kaolin mining area that later on was stopped and just abandoned. Kaolin itself is a mineral clay popularly used for industrial purposes. Since this lake is different with other sulfur lake in Indonesia, the water in this lake was quiet safe.
