HARAU VALLEY

Harau Valley is in West Sumatra in Indonesia. It is one of the most beautiful natural scenery in West Sumatra. Located on the road between Pekanbaru and Bukittinggi. It is an area of canyons and rock formations with forest and rice fields in between.

Pariangan is a Minangkabau village located in the regency of Tanah Datar, West Sumatra province, Indonesia. The village is located on the lower slopes of Mount Marapi, a highly active volcano, at a distance of fifteen kilometres from the market town of Batu Sangkar. Despite its size, the village is of great cultural and historical significance to the Minangkabau people. In May 2012, Nagari (village) Pariangan was chosen as one of the five most beautiful villages in the world by Budget Travel, an international tourism magazine.
