Maumere

Maumere is a city on the island of Flores which is the capital city of Sikka District, NTT. The city of Nyiur Melambai does have its own charm, ranging from spiritual tourism, cultural tourism and nature tourism. The charm of a number of white sand beaches in Maumere is able to hypnotize every visitor's eyes. In addition, the waters in the Maumere region also have underwater views that are no less beautiful than other eastern Indonesian waters. Access to Maumere can be reached by flight from Denpasar for 2 hours and from Kupang for 1 hour. Or for visitors who have more flexible time, can travel Flores overland from Labuan Bajo to Maumere using a rental vehicle or travel car.

ENDE: SOEKARNO’s Exile: Birthplace of PANCASILA, The 5 Pillars of INDONESIA About 700 meters from Soekarno's house, was a Breadfruit Tree that directly faced Ende Beach. It is known that Soekarno often sat here to contemplate under the tree whilst envisioning a united country that would be called Indonesia.
